Youth Mass, the foundation of The Rock, is offered weekly on Sundays at 5:00 pm.

Approximately once a month after Youth Mass, The Rock presents faith building, service, and social opportunities for middle and high school students during "Rock Nights".

Mark your calendars and save the dates for The Rock's February events:

Feb 6 & 7- Service From the Rock- “Souper” Bowl Collection-following all the Masses on the weekend of February 6th and 7th.   We still need many more volunteers for the collection!  Members of The Rock Youth Ministry will be posted outside the church doors collecting monetary donations following all the Masses. The proceeds of this collection will be donated to St. Francis House in Boston and the Soup Kitchen in Woonsocket. Your contributions will help to feed the hungry this winter. As always thank you for your support and generosity.

Feb 16-
The Rock on The Road
-  LIFT

Feb 28- Rock Night - “Baggage”…  A play featuring World Youth Day performer Christin Jezak, for middle and high schoolers in the charter school auditorium following Youth Mass…

Got stuff?  We all do!  It’s not until we take a closer look that we realize just how much baggage we carry, and how much it weighs us down.  Ever feel a heaviness in your heart and you’re just not sure where it comes from?  Come meet “Gina”, and watch her story unfold as she figures out how to lighten her load of baggage, and how freeing it is to clean it out… and we’re not talking about backpacks and purses!  For more info: www.p2ptheatre.com

Please note that the proposed ski trip will not be offered this year due to a lack of adult organizers and chaperones.  Have a great Feb school vacation, and we’ll try again next year!

make a difference this New Year…

…resolve to get involved… share your talents… ...take time to strengthen your faith…

Middle and high school students are needed to serve at the 5:00 pm Youth Mass.  Complete training will be provided, and most serve about once a month as lectors, altar servers, gift bearers, and ushers.  Students who have received Confirmation are also invited to serve as Eucharistic Ministers.  To serve, contact Mrs. Moccia at ljscmoccia@aol.com

Middle and high school vocalists and musicians are needed for the Youth Mass Choir.  Perhaps you enjoy singing and/or playing in your school's chorus or drama club.  Perhaps you are not a performer at all, but have the gift of song and are searching for a place where music fits in your life.  Please consider sharing your gifts and your faith by proclaiming God's word in song.  The Youth Mass Youth Choir rehearses one to two times per month on Sunday afternoons and sings at Youth Mass once per month.  For more information, contact Mrs. Kelly at pfkellgro@verizon.net.

Parents and teens can lend a hand with Service From The Rock programs.  Adults can help run a project, and teens are needed to participate in many upcoming service opportunities.  For more information about Service From The Rock programs, contact Mr. Wiech at servicefromtherock@gmail.com  .

Give your life a LIFT!

LIFT nights involve hundreds of area middle and high school students and include

upbeat praise and worship music (think Youth Mass music to the next level)

followed by an inspirational speaker and Eucharistic Adoration enhanced by more praise and worship music.

Teens, friends, parents, and supporters of The Rock Youth Ministry

are invited and encouraged to attend.                The night ROCKS...don't miss out!              www.liftedhigher.com
